Wensome (Wendy) J. Peters is the daughter of Thomas L. and Eddie B. Johnson. She is a native of Anniston, Alabama and a 1973 graduate of Anniston High School. She has been a faithful and loyal employee of Bruno's Inc., serving as a customer service manager for 27 years.
Raised as a child in Thankful Baptist Church of Anniston, Wendy accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in 1993. In 1994, Wendy was led to become a member of the Word of Life Community Church where Dr. Henry W. Roberts, Jr. serves as Pastor. She serves tirelessly in many capacities of the church, such as Evangelist, Deaconness, Salvation Counselor, Youth Director, Children/Adult Outreach minister, Finance Committee, Sunday School and whatever else her hands find to do. In 1997, she received an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies from the Word of Life Christian College in Mobile. In pursuit of God's purpose for her life, Wendy received her call to ministry in 1998. Later in 2003, she was ordained as an evangelist and received her Certificate of Ministry from the Word of Life Christian College.
Wendy is happily married to her loving husband, Charles and they are the proud parents of two wonderful children; Kendal and Sharri; as well as one grandson, Xavier.
Just as David, Wendy has a heart of God, and a lifestyle of praise and worship. Her love and passion for God exudes in everything that she does. She is God's anointed vessel and her hearts desire is to someday evangelized the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
