"A Woman, after the very heart and presence of God"
Born to Joseph J. and Verna D. Coleman in Mobile, Alabama, Denise
entered the time of God when obstacles in Civil rights, and
demostrations for equality was prevalent. Denise Coleman-Patterson
is one of five children. The pursuit of God's purpose on her life has always been a thriving
force behind this unique woman of God. She is a graduate of C.F. Vigor High School in Prichard, Alabama in
1977, she graduated with honors. Denise later did her
Undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama, where she
recieved her B.A. Degree in Broadcasting and Film Communications
and minor in Marketing.
Later, Denise sensed a stronger call on her life in the area of
Servitude, and pursued and completed her Master's Degree in
Counseling from Alabama State University. Denise has spent the last
10 years of her life in Rehabilitation Services through the State of
Alabama, where she serves people with Disabilities, assisting them
toward employment. However, the call toward service and ministering to people who were
hopelessness only became greater on her life. Denise enrolled and
completed the School of Ministry at the Word of Life Community
Bible College, and recieved her liscense to minister the Word to
others in 2003.
Her service to others extends and embodies a multitude of
experiences as she dilengently works in the Church as a Salvation
Counselor, Deaconness, Sunday School Teacher, and works with her
husband Darrell as they coordinate the Adult Outreach Ministry.
Denise is married to Darrell Patterson, and together they have three
children, Sylvia, Darryl, Jr., and Sean.
God has called this Woman of God, to Teach and Preach the Word
of God, and to set the Captives free. She has been called for "Such a
time as this," Esther 4:14.
